An-Nahdlah Edu: Journal of Elementary Education is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This statement of publication ethics is based on the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies to all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication

The publication of articles in An-Nahdlah Edu: Journal of Elementary Education reflects the quality of the authors’ work and the institutions supporting them. Ethical publishing practices ensure the integrity of scientific communication and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in elementary education.

Duties of Authors

Reporting Standards

Authors should present accurate, original, and objective reports of the conducted research. Data and findings should be represented honestly without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are entirely original. Proper acknowledgment and citation must be provided for all sources used. Plagiarism in any form constitutes unethical publication behavior and is unacceptable.

Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

Authors should not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal or publish substantially similar research in multiple publications.

Authorship of the Manuscript

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All contributors should be appropriately acknowledged.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation of the research findings.

Fundamental Errors in Published Works

If authors identify significant errors in their published work, they must promptly notify the editorial office and cooperate in correcting or retracting the article.

Duties of Editors

Publication Decisions

Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts should be published based on scholarly merit, originality, significance, and relevance to the journal scope.

Fair Play

Editors evaluate manuscripts solely based on academic content without discrimination regarding race, gender, religion, citizenship, ethnicity, institutional affiliation, or political beliefs.

Confidentiality

Editors and editorial staff must maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts and must not disclose any information except to authorized individuals involved in the publication process.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

Editors should not use unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts for their own research without written consent from the authors.

Duties of Reviewers

Contribution to Editorial Decisions

Peer reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and help authors improve manuscript quality through constructive feedback.

Confidentiality

Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential documents and should not share or discuss them with others without authorization.

Objectivity Standards

Reviews should be conducted objectively, supported by clear arguments and constructive recommendations.

Acknowledgment of Sources

Reviewers should identify relevant published works not cited by authors and report any substantial similarity with previously published studies.

Conflicts of Interest

Reviewers must decline reviews when conflicts of interest exist due to competitive, collaborative, or institutional relationships.
