Duties of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to An-Nahdlah Edu: Journal of Elementary Education are required to adhere to ethical standards and publication principles to ensure the integrity, quality, and credibility of scholarly publications.

Reporting Standards

Authors should present accurate, original, and objective accounts of the conducted research. Research findings, methodologies, and interpretations must be reported honestly and clearly. Fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation of data constitutes unethical behavior and is unacceptable.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are entirely original works. Any use of ideas, data, words, figures, or materials from other sources must be properly cited and acknowledged. Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.

Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

Authors should not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal or publish substantially similar manuscripts in different publications. Duplicate submission and redundant publication are considered unethical publication practices.

Authorship of the Manuscript

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant intellectual contributions to the conception, design, implementation, analysis, or interpretation of the study. All contributors who have substantially participated in the research should be listed as co-authors, while others should be acknowledged appropriately.

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript before submission.

Data Access and Retention

Authors may be requested to provide raw data related to the submitted manuscript for editorial review purposes and should retain such data for a reasonable period after publication.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or other conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation of research findings or the publication process.

Acknowledgment of Sources

Authors are required to properly acknowledge all sources used in the preparation of the manuscript. Relevant literature and previous studies that have influenced the research should be appropriately cited.

Ethical Considerations in Research

Research involving human participants, children, or educational settings should comply with ethical standards and institutional regulations. Authors should ensure that the research has been conducted responsibly and ethically.

Fundamental Errors in Published Works

If authors discover significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work, they are obligated to promptly notify the editorial office and cooperate in correcting, revising, or retracting the publication when necessary.

Manuscript Revision Responsibility

Authors are expected to respond to reviewers’ comments and editorial suggestions constructively and revise manuscripts within the specified time frame to support an efficient publication process.
